BBC Breakfast's Nina Warhurst compares herself to a 'beached whale' as she shows off massive baby bump

BBC Breakfast host Nina Warhurst has shared a post on social media showing the magic of TV camera angles.

The presenter is regularly found on the iconic BBC Breakfast sofa and is currently pregnant with her third child.

Nina, 42, shared two snaps on her Instagram feed yesterday showing the progress of her baby bump as well as some Instagram stories where she compared herself to a whale.

Fans have been showing their support over the last few months as the star gets closer to her due date.

The first image was of Nina with famous jockey Frankie Dettori on the set of BBC Breakfast in a polka dot dress, and the second was her sat on a sofa in the same dress showing the full size of her wholesome bump.

She captioned the post: "Studio sofa vs office sofa @bbcbreakfast.

"Featuring pint sized perfection @frankiedettori_

"…. And the power of posture & perspective."

Her Instagram stories showed her standing beside some crustaceans and a whale during a sea life segment. She said: "…two beached whales".

"What a smile!" one fan said with another commenting on her glow: "I know it's a cliche about blooming in pregnancy but you are.."

An avid morning news consumer waited specifics on when she would be returning to show and asked: "When is the baby due? And will you be back on Breakfast TV after maternity leave?"

The close up of the bump in the second image prompted many social media app users to assume she must be ready to pop.

"OMG you must be close to giving birth," one fan stated, with another adding "I think you're amazing Nina so natural and clever with it not too long now till the new Babba is here."

Nina officially shared that she and her husband were expecting a third child in March.

They currently have two children, Digby and Michael.
